Noarlunga Aquatic Recreational Club for Divers Inc. A dive club based in Adelaide, South Australia. the Noarlunga Aquatic Recreational Club for Divers was formed in August 1982 to further the aquatic interests of members. Our membership base is small and comprises open water divers through to instructors, cave divers and non divers. New members are always welcome and enquires can be made by contacting one of the committee persons included on the contact us page attached to our site.
We are a warm and friendly group who get together regularly for diving and social activities. All levels of diving certification are catered for in our regularly organised shore and boat dives. We also organise regular weekends away at various South Australian locations. Check out our dive calendar for upcoming dives and trips. On the social side, regular non diving activities are also held which include dinners, BBQ's, movie nights and other fun get togethers.
We are not connected to or affiliated with any dive shops and therefore do not offer diving courses or equipment sales. This means that there is no pressure on anyone to dive, complete a dive course or buy a particular piece of equipment. The NARCD club owns a boat, compressor, trailer and marquee which are utilised on club trips and events. We also have two boat shark shields for use on club boat dives.
The annual subscription is $40 for individuals, $60 for families and $10 for non diving members.
The club produces a monthly newsletter which informs members of various diving and non-diving activities. The club holds regular meetings commencing at 7.30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Brighton Metro Hotel on the corner of Brighton and Sturt Road, Brighton. |
